You want to ski? Is it a last minute decision or the result of weeks of planning? Are you travelling in term time or are you limited to when the schools are off? Can you only go for just three days? Or maybe five. Is travelling on a Sunday more convenient for you? Are you just booking the accommodation? Or are you adding your ski packs as well? Will you ski just once this winter? Or, perhaps, three or four times? With the kids? But make sure you avoid the traffic. You’ll come home and then want to go again. This time without the kids, maybe with friends. And still avoiding traffic jams.
Break away from the traditional Saturday 7 night stranglehold. Choose from 19 residences in the French Alps (throughout Savoie and Haute-Savoie). Or select a short break on last minute during French term time.
By avoiding the Saturday bottleneck, breeze through the airport with shorter queues at every stage from check-in to transfer bus. To reduce your carbon emissions, you can also use the train (Eurostar and TGV via Paris or Lille) to take advantage of shorter transfers from the train station. Pay less for more choice of flights or trains too!
Collecting keys, lift passes, ski equipment - everything happens faster on Sundays. So you can get on the piste as soon as you arrive. And the best part is when everyone else is on the road, you can enjoy the mountain to yourself and jump straight on the lift with no queue!
