We had a great stay at Les Crets in Méribel Mottaret. We booked a 6-person apartment and shared it with another couple. The location was easy to reach by ski’s and well connected to Méribel Mottaret via a funicular, with a supermarket conveniently located at the bottom
The apartment was clean and well equipped for four people, although it would feel a bit small for six
We would definitely stay here again. If you’re looking for a calm and quiet place, this is a great choice. If you prefer something more lively, you might want to look at Val Thorens or Méribel instead
Reasonable value, clean enough (though relying on the last user to clean the kitchen is sometimes challenging), spacious and warm. Beds were comfortable though small pillows. Bathrooms are nice. Ski locker room was poor - few places to sit to do boots, boot driers fitted but not working, and the lockers were clearly numbered by someone higher than the Point de Masse.
The hotel location is great and very close to the ski lift. However, for me it wasn’t truly ski-in/ski-out. It is located on the Aigle red slope, so you can ski directly out from the hotel, but skiing back means you have to return via that same slope. Otherwise, if you come back another way, you need to enter from the front, carry your skis for a short distance, and take a lift back up to the hotel, with quite a few stairs along the way.
Check-in and unloading luggage were also a bit inconvenient. Apart from that, the hotel is very comfortable and the staff are friendly. Overall it was a nice stay. The Three Valleys is truly amazing!
Fantasic location for these lovely, clean, cosy and spacious apartments. Very well equipped for self catering. Staff friendly and helpful on arrival. Great location in three valleys for early access to ski area.
