The block layout is very poor! Especially with a baby, the main entrance has stairs up and down so the main entrance was rarely used. If you have a baby stroller and or wheel chair, it’s better to use the car park entrance given this is step free and use the lift to access the resort which is to the right of the car park entrance as you exit the car park.
The accommodation was ok, you need to make the bed so be aware. The blankets are just fleece blankets and I am not sure how often they are washed given you are not request to put these fleece blankets in the laundry bad!!
You do have 3 portable radiators in the flat which helped with the cold but we were unable to power all 3 at once without the fuse box tripping.
It does appear the pierre vacances is going through and updating the apartments, our kitchen was pretty much brand new as well as the bathroom.
However, the build quality is quite poor, the front door has a constant draft and thus can be noisy.
Reception is miles away, I don’t actually understand why Pierre Vacances doesn’t go keyless, the reception is 200 metres away and is only open part time, this not very useful or helpful.
Also the internal corridors do not have motion sensors for the lights, so remember to turn on the light when you enter a corridor and don’t accidentally press the door bell for a different apartment.
The Ski lockers are pretty basic and can get crowded, thus i would recommend you put on your ski boots at the apartment and only leaves skis/poles in the ski locker. Luckily, we had an apartment with direct slope access so we never used the locker. Also, the lockers are not heated thus if you want dry and warm boots, you will need to bring your own!
Location is great, access to the slopes is great. Pierre Vacances has a great product it’s just lacking in the execution.

The resort is great for families, just be aware the resort is small and things can be cheaper in Plagne Bellecot.

Would not recommend to anyone to stay here. Rooms are old and tired and room layouts are awful. Beds not made on arrival, pillows awful and left with a few blankets for bedding. After having late arrival / checkin we were not told the rules or procedures on check out. Consequently this hotel withheld our deposit for leaving minimal rubbish and lined on beds, refused to communicate to us. Disgusting and won’t be returning. Shame on you.

Fabulous location, apartments and ski runs. Shops, bars and restaurants excellent. Been coming here since they were built over 40 years ago. Mr Berard’s ski shop is legendary and you must visit La Spatule at Plagne Villages for a divine pizza.

great stay,
great location & quiet,
clean accommodation,
well equipped kitchen
good bathrooms (incl. hairdryer, unlimited hot water)
good secure Ski lockers

one gripe, there was no communication that we had to checking at the Les Gemeaux reception - so we spent 45 mins asking people where to check in - this must be stated in the Heidi ski notes.

Great for 2 week long stays with family in winter with plenty to do all the times. The rooms have under floor heating and radiators too if it gets cold. The beds and storage are nice and big. Would recommend.
