If you are looking to relax and enjoy the sun, a weekend in Antibes is always a good idea. The city is situated between Nice and Cannes (you can fly from the UK to Nice directly). Antibes’ Old Town is beautiful, with many restaurants and little cafés. Relax on a terrace with a cocktail and enjoy the view on the port. Antibes also offers some beautiful museum such as the Picasso Museum or the Gardens of Eilen Roc. Antibes is also a beautiful beach destination: with more than a dozen beaches on the Cap d’Antibes and in Juan-les-Pins, you will definitely spend some time relaxing on the sand. If you want to enjoy the view, take a stroll on the five-kilometre coastal walk Chemin des Douaniers. Beginning at the ramparts of the Old Town, the path leads to a beautiful cove and then follows some private castles and little creeks.
