My wife was trapped in the elevator for three hours in the middle of the night.
There was no emergency service number, no assistance available, and no one on site who could help. We eventually had to call the fire department, who finally managed to get her out after three extremely distressing hours.
We later discovered that the elevator had apparently not been serviced properly for more than three years.
Their response? An €80 voucher as compensation. Honestly, it felt like a complete joke considering the seriousness of what happened.
The service at reception was appalling. The rooms were dirty, and the air-conditioning unit was so filthy that I had to clean it myself. Parking is also a complete nightmare.
Worst of all, the staff on site were arrogant, dismissive, and incredibly rude throughout our stay.
I would genuinely rather sleep in a tent than stay at this place again.
Great location, between Antibes and Juan Les Pins. Very nice sea view. Overall quiet and secure place. There is everything you need in the apartment. Thank you
Before staying here I thought I got myself a good deal, many good reviews on Expedia and Google and only a few bad ones. Well, I wish more had put bad reviews on and made me realise.
The photos on Expedia are deceiving, they show the picture of a large rectangular pool along with the smaller semi-circle shaped one but the large pool isn't for people staying at the hotel, it's a private pool, so why this is in the listing I do not know and feel like it's false advertising.
Next the pictures of the rooms, it looks like you're getting a proper bed in each apartment but no it turns out you only get one if there's 6 people in one room. Instead you get a pull out sofa bed and we slept in the kitchen / dining area.
Moving on to towels, we were told by staff that you could leave towels on the floor for fresh ones, to then later realise there is no maid service and you either pay for more towels or pay to do your own laundry of said towels.
I then asked about toilet roll as they only gave us one and my wife, being pregnant, goes to the bathroom more frequently, so didn't last too long. When I asked they said they usually charge people for toilet roll. So then I thought to myself, what did I actually pay for on this holiday?
The location of the hotel was good between Juan Les Pins and the Antibes old town but it was on a hill so getting back to the apartment in the recent heatwave was not for the faint hearted. I'd stay in the area again but not at this establishment I am afraid.
