A must-see on the French Riviera, Hyeres Old Town is definitely picturesque with its little cobbled streets, bougainvillea and a village-like atmosphere. Right in front of the town, you will need to take the ferry and enjoy a trip to the little archipelago of iles d’Hyeres. Among the 3 islands, the largest, Porquerolles, offers an amazing deep pine forest, cliffs, turquoise waters and pristine beaches.

If you are fond of architecture, visit Villa Noaille, drawn up in the 1920s by world-renowned architect Robert Mallet-Stevens. Many famous names such as Picasso, Cocteau or Man Ray spend some time there, probably looking at the inspiring Mediterranean Sea.
Close to Hyeres’ most famous beach, you will be able to visit the 4th century BC Greek colony of Olbia, an outpost for the larger colony known today as Marseille. There are so many activities to enjoy during your French holidays you will not get bored !
