If you want to try something different, most ski resorts have adapted their slopes to snowboarding and the Ecole du Ski Français is a great school to take a few classes to improve your snowboarding. Many resorts also feature snow parks as well as snow nurseries so you can take the children to discover the snow from a very early age as well.
