Les Arcs is a luxury yet family-friendly ski resort. The village is totally car-free and is ideal for short breaks: as it is ski-in, ski-out, you will not waste time in your car or in the bus ! The village also features 40 shops, bars and restaurant as well as a 1000m2 Deep Nature Spa after a hard day on the slopes. The Paradiski ski area is the second largest in the world and links to one of Europe’s largest cable cars: the Vanoise Express. Paradiski offers slopes for skiers of all levels, with 425 kilometres of ski runs (120 blue, 66 red, 36 black, 10 green), 132 ski lifts, as well as 2 glaciers, 2 snowparks and 1 halfpipe. The Vanoise National Park offers a protected area of 53,000 hectares of nature – with modern infrastructures as well as comfortable lifts to access les Arcs, La Plagne or Peisey-Vallandry.
If you want to take the children to your last minute Arc 1950 weekend, do not forget that children clubs are available on the village. The Ecole du Ski Français ESF is also a great opportunity for them to take their first skiing lessons.
