General Conditions of Europ Assistance

Too much or not enough snow
With the Comprehensive Pack or the Cancellation Pack your cancellation costs are covered.


A skiing accident or health problem
With the Comprehensive Pack, the cost of mountain searches is covered, on or off-piste for French resorts, repatriation, compensation for unused days of ski pass and equipment hire, broken ski equipment refunded… everything is prepared to best assist you should anything not go to plan. 

Stolen or broken skis or a lost ski pass

Up to €1,500 is refunded for your equipment, and up to €150 for the hire of new skis.
Your ski pass is reimbursed prorata temporis for the days lost in the event of theft or loss.

Cancellation for all justified reasons – what does it mean ?

If you find yourself obligated to cancel your stay due to any serious cause beyond your control, unforeseeable at the time of booking, and for which you can provide documentary proof, you will be compensated for cancellation costs  (€6,500 maximum/person and €32,000 maximum/incident) 

If the cancellation is due to illness or an accident, a professional incident or serious material damage (flooding, fire, burglary), you will be refunded without excess charge. In other situations (justified reason, terrorist attack, lack of or excess snow): an excess charge of 10% is applied with a minimum charge of €50 per accommodation.

The Comprehensive Pack – Before, during and after your stay

Before, during and after your stay

You suffer from health problems during your stay
Hospitalization abroad, medical costs, repatriation, repatriation of companions, early return for a hospitalised relative… 

You have missed the start of your holiday
You will be compensated prorata temporis for the days lost.

You need to interrupt your stay
If you have to return earlier than planned due to illness, hospitalization of a relative, damage to your home, you will be compensated prorata temporis for the days lost (€6,500 maximum/person and €32,000 maximum/incident) and unused return air travel tickets will be reimbursed at 50% (€6,500 maximum/stay).

You have to interrupt any activities that you booked
If you have to interrupt the practice of a sporting or leisure activity due to illness, accident, lack of or excess snow, or an exceptional weather incident, you will be reimbursed prorata temporis for the unused days of activity limited to €500/person. 

You have a problem with your vehicle
If you breakdown you will be assisted/towed and will be able to continue your journey by taxi (covered up to €250) or hire car (covered up to €500).
