A weekend in Calpe

Calpe is a seaside town dominated by a large rocky outcrop, the “penon de Ifach”. The town is definitely worth paying a visit to and short breaks to Calpe are a great way to enjoy both the beauties of Spanish culture and a relaxing last minute Calpe break on the beach. Calpe offers an average 12 hours of sunshine per day on its 2 main beaches: Playa Levante and Playa Del Arenal. Finish your day by visiting the nightly fish auction held in Calpe Auction House by the harbour and have an amazing dinner in one of the many fish restaurants of the area. If you are visiting with the children, Calpe is only 30 kilometres from Benidorm, where you will find several theme parks such as Terra Mitica and Terra Natura as well as the water parks Aqualandia and Mundomar.
