Nice hotel right just across from the beach. Nice rooms. Big bathrooms with a little shower room and a bath that also came with a shower attachment. All rooms have a balcony, that are private and nice to sit out in at night. Theres a roof top bar which has amazing views. They have a buffet restaurant which is £23 per person if you arent halfboard/full board. They have a pool on the roof top and second floor. There is a bar on the ground floor that opens at night. It isn't very big so seating is limited. All in all, it's a good hotel and i'd recommend it.

Hotel with no personality at all. Beige and bland decor. Breakfast was very crowded, all tables full either with people or crockery. Staff busy but not enough of them to successfully keep the dining room clear. Outdoor pool did not overlook beach as photos seem to show. Contained by three buildings with only a small gap to get any sun through. Very cold. Pool on roof was small but in a good position. Bedroom was ok but mattress very hard. No coffee (machine but no pods - had to buy these from reception ) or milk and only two teabags which when used weren't replaced. Cleaning in room needs to be better - lots of long dark hairs which were not from our party. Would definitely not consider this a four star hotel. Would not visit here again, though would visit Calpe as a lovely place.

I’ll try to write an objective review about Hotel Bahia:

The location of the hotel is unbeatable, as many people already know. The rooms are large and spacious. For the first two nights, we had a room facing the street, and then we moved to one with a sea view — which is absolutely worth it, the view is stunning.

The rooms are clean; of course, if you’re overly picky, you’ll always find small imperfections. I did notice a few hair strands in the room, probably from the cleaning lady, but honestly, it didn’t bother me at all — my hair also falls out, so it’s not a big deal. :)

The rooftop area, with the pool and bar, is beautiful, clean, and offers decent prices at the bar. The breakfast is simply extraordinary — only at the Riu Hotel in Madrid have I seen something similar, but there the price per night is more than double, so Hotel Bahia truly excels in this regard.

It’s a big hotel, and during our stay it was fully booked. Even so, we always found a table at breakfast, the staff was friendly and hard-working, and the tables were cleared very quickly.

The reception staff was also extremely kind and welcoming. I’d like to give special thanks to Teodora and Francesca.

I sincerely recommend this hotel. The price is excellent for what it offers, and the entire staff deserves a solid 10/10.
If I return to Calpe — which I definitely intend to — I will absolutely choose this hotel again.

Great location. Beds are a bit too firm for me. I asked for a duvet to put on top of mattress but they didn't have any spare ones. Restaurant a bit basic and cafe like. Breakfast... Not much choice of cereals only sugar coated ones. Not a lot of fruit either. But if you like fried breakfast there's lots to choose from. Good for the price though.
