Nice hotell and pools

We stayed here for a friends wedding. Upon arrival we got a nice greeting from receptionist to be fair, very polite. We booked a sea view room which has a fantastic view of the sea. Balcony is quite small would be nice to be bigger. Room was clean when we arrived day one but the usual cleaning/service was very poor. Towels not changed for 2/3 days and room not swept. Bed lining also hasn’t been changed in 5 days.
In our room there was a very bad smell of sewage coming from the bathroom after running the tap for a while.
Rooftop area is nice. Limited amount of sun beds, pool quite small. They also don’t provide towels for loungers so you need to use your bathroom towels- not good enough to be honest. Food not great either on rooftop bar. Frozen pizza put into an oven costing €14 you would expect something better.
Breakfast buffet was fine decent variety. Some tables weren’t set and you would have to get cutlery yourself - this was only at busy times.

You would expect better of a 4 star hotel being honest but priced reasonable.

Very good service. We went to visit the hotel to make a reservation for my mother who was going to visit Calpe. After booking she wasn't able to visit due to medical reasons and the hotel acted very commendable regarding cancellation and refund.

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Bahia Calpe.

The breakfast was good, although it could have included a few more vegetables and perhaps some Greek yogurt.

The room was as expected, with a nice view. They offer two types of sea‑view balconies, and I ended up with the smaller one — it would have been helpful if this was more clearly explained when booking.

The rooftop area is very nice, with a smaller pool and great views.

I visited just before Easter, so the rooftop restaurant wasn’t serving food yet. Overall, a good stay and a hotel I can recommend.

Bedbugs!!!!!
Beware of this hotel!
We told the staff that we had several bites after a few days, they did not care and told us a strange story about mosquitoes biting cyclists.
