Lisbon is the capital city of Portugal. The city itself and it surroundings are definitely worth the journey ! With its colourful architecture, its picturesque neighbourhoods and cobbled streets, every district of Lisbon is a wonder: stroll through the Baixa district that opens on the Tagus river in Praça do Comercio, follow the river to discover Belem with its famous tower (in the middle of the river !) and the Jeronimos Monastery. If you want to enjoy a scenic view on the city, visit the ancient Sao Jorge Castle.

Lisbon also features some incredible museums: don’t forget to visit the Calouste Gulbekian Museum, a foundation with over 6,000 works of art. The Design Museum as well as the National Museum of Contemporary Art are also worth a visit.
