Built in the middle of the 13th century, the castle offers spectacular views of the town as well as views of the silhouette of Mount Montjuic in Barcelona. Blanes also offers a well preserved old town. With its gothic fountain, churches, and typical Spanish squares, visit the town and its shops. The botanical and tropical garden are also a beautiful visit. Considered to be the finest in the whole Europe, they present over 3,000 exotic species, and also offer stuffing views on the cliffs overlooking the sea.
