Excellent hotel that represents an exceptional value option in a very expensive country. The resorts is relatively ski in ski out (depending on which building - there is a cat track (mini ski slope) that takes you to Zinal Sorebois gondola). The hotel furnishings were nice ...and premium for ski lodging but not luxury. Ski lockers on site to store your gear with dryers. The skiing in Zinal and Grimentz is truly first rate and was mostly empty. Overall exceptional property from a value perspective especially for larger families (greater than 4- as a family of 5 your options are very limited for connecting rooms in places like Zermatt of Verbier unless you rent an entire chateaux). Knowledge of some basic French in this area is helpful as a few people may not know any English (most know basic English). All the staff we encountered at SwissPeaks spoke near flawless fluent English. For transport to Zinal contact Michel at Taxi Anniviers Sarl (in Vissoie) who was recommended by the hotel. His pricing was competitive for this route. He understood enough English to coordinate, and was a very safe and professional driver (his taxi is a minibus with tons of space- we were expecting a nine seat van - his bus has 20+ seats and is very premium inside - table area in the back large windows). Importantly - and the SwissPeak staff should be aware/help with this ideally - when you arrive if you will be in one of the lower buildings- have the driver drop you off on the road behind the resort so you can take your luggage through the parking garage elevators into your room.

We stayed here for 3 years in a row during a ski trip. Before that we enjoyed a holiday with them in Vercorin. Had a great stay on all occasions. Apartments are great and friendly help when needed. Definitely would recommend staying here
