The Palheiro resort is located 7 km from the centre of Funchal. With a commanding view of the ocean, the 120-hectare resort grew around a 19th century hunting lodge and became a luxury destination.
The luxurious, elegantly decorated apartments are located in several buildings on the hillside and ...no higher than one storey. The resort also offers luxury villas.
In the resort you will find an outdoor pool with a magnificent view over the sea and a spa.
An 18-hole golf course with breathtaking views over the sea, a spa, and at the clubhouse, the Casa Velha Restaurant with its understated decor with a touch of the exotic.
In the "Carvalhal" lounge, by the reception, you can relax reading a book, watching television or playing pool or darts.
Vehicle essential. The island of Madeira is crossed by a main road which passes below the residence.

The spa's indoor pool is heated to a temperature of 27-30°. There are also 3 hot tubs. Please note: Charges apply Open from 10 am to 7 pm To allow all to fully enjoy the indoor pool, children under 16 are only allowed from 1 pm.
