It is also a starting point for trekking and boat trips that will be suitable for young and ...old alike. The apartments have all the amenities you need for a pleasant stay on the shores of Lac Maggiore. It is also the ideal place to relax while enjoying the view: its eco-friendly swimming pool and tun terrace offer a superb panorama over the lake and the mountains that border it.
The Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso is a monastery overlooking the eastern shore of Lake Maggiore, in Leggiuno. Palazzo Borromeo with its magnificent furniture and rooms such as the Venetian salon and its trompe l'oeil floral paintings.
Typical products from Lake Maggiore include cutting boards from our local restaurants, cured meats, bacon and bresaola, as well as mortadella from Ossola, ham and goat's fiddle from Val Viggezzo and lard with herbs from Macugnaga.
Strolling along the romantic shores of Lake Stresa and admiring the panorama of the Borromean Islands and the mountains is a truly extraordinary experience in any season.
