The Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso is a monastery overlooking the eastern shore of Lake Maggiore, in Leggiuno. Palazzo Borromeo with its magnificent furniture and rooms such as the Venetian salon and its trompe l'oeil floral paintings.
Typical products from Lake Maggiore include cutting boards from our local restaurants, cured meats, bacon and bresaola, as well as mortadella from Ossola, ham and goat's fiddle from Val Viggezzo and lard with herbs from Macugnaga.
