Located 2 km from the village of Giens, the Le Hameau de la Pinède residence is comprised of Provençal-style apartments and houses. They are scattered within a ...glorious Mediterranean garden. All the accommodation has been tastefully decorated in vibrant colours to give the interiors a warm feel. The added bonus? Make the most of good weather on your balcony or terrace.
To reach the fine sandy beach just 350 metres away, take the footpath through the pine forest from the residence.
Swim on site from April to November in a beautiful pool (unheated) surrounded by loungers and palm trees, or play some beach volleyball.
We've thought of everything for families here. Your little ones can have some fun in the dedicated play areas.
You'll have the opportunity to go horse riding, sailing, hiking, and play tennis or golf in the surrounding area.
Discover Hyères and its medieval heritage. Following the ramparts of the old town, you'll pass by the Tour des Templiers, the Eglise Saint-Louis and climb up to the Château de Hyères, which offers a panoramic view of the Maures massif.

As with every other Pierre et Vacances resort we have stayed at, the basics were in place - kitchen reasonably equipped and cleaning supplies provided, unit clean and functional. The look and feel of the resort was good - grounds well maintained, colourful buildings and ...pleasant pool area. This resort is popular with families so expect children around the pool - not always that peaceful. Pool didn't open until 10am which seemed rather late for a summer holiday destination - 8.30am would seem like a more appropriate time.
Good location for nearby beach and a few nice bars/restaurants within 10 mins walk. Free on-site secure car park was great as car hire is very likely here. Bus route outside hotel - though we didn't actually use it.
Only interaction we had with staff was on check in. The lady we spoke with was very friendly and helpful, provided lots of useful information about the hotel and nearby areas.
Overall this hotel is fine - better than "basic" but not going to win any awards. It's functional and acceptable for a week stay but not worth paying over the odds for.
