Review based on one visit.
The staff was consistently friendly and welcoming, from the receptionists to the cleaning and restaurant teams, which made our stay more enjoyable.
The hotel offers underground parking, though spaces are limited. Street parking is available, but ...finding a spot after 17:30 can be challenging. If you do find a spot, it’s cheaper, but you’ll need to move your car after a certain time. The Aparcar (see photo) mobile app, available also in English, helps manage this.
Our room was on the first floor, facing the pool. While the pool area closes at 20:00, we experienced noise until around 22:30 due to the terrace below, where dinner is served. Additionally, entertainment from neighboring hotels continued until midnight, which might be an issue for light sleepers.
Unfortunately, our first night was particularly disruptive. We were woken up at 4:30 AM by two people chatting loudly in the hallway. A quick call to reception resolved that issue. However, every night there was a lot of noise from other guests coming and going, slamming doors, and shouting in the corridors, making it hard to get a restful sleep.
The pool itself is well-maintained, with daily cleaning and varying depths, making it suitable for children.
The food at the hotel was quite good. The breakfast buffet, available from 8:00 AM for 11€/person (with kids eating at half price), offered a good selection of cold and warm options, including fruits, yogurt, and desserts. We also dined from the menu in the evening and were pleased with the quality of the dishes, such as juicy grilled meats and flavorful burgers. The prices on the menu are in the higher range compared with other restaurants in the area. There’s also a dinner buffet at 19:30 for 15€/person, though we didn’t try it. I’d be cautious about the buffet, as most of the options, except for a few meats, are available on the buffet an hour earlier.
However, the hotel falls short of its advertised four-star rating. The property is in dire need of renovation. The room floors weren’t thoroughly cleaned, resulting in dirty socks quickly. We also noticed cracks in the walls, dirty curtains with holes, poor bathroom ventilation, and windows that did little more than keep mosquitoes out.
One particularly disappointing aspect was that the in-room safe came with an additional charge of 12€/3 days. Safety should be a priority, especially in an area known for high burglary activity, and charging extra for basic security is unacceptable. This was a key reason for taking out a star from my rating.
