Holiday 16th - 23rd June 24 - As usual, I'm a bit apprehensive in staying in any hotels abroad due to the unknown. Well, what a lovely hotel, staff really friendly and always with a smile, stayed here as a couple on the 5th floor, room was spacious, clean, plenty of ...storage, had a fridge, nice size tv, hairdryer, good working hot shower, air con, small balcony with 2 chairs and small table, housekeeping and clean towels daily. No kettle in room so bougt our own in a little hardware store for 11 euros. Wow, what a good night's sleep we had each night, No doors slamming, No shouting from inconsiderate people, No loud music being played.
We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and found the breakfast menu had plenty to offer and all you could eat. There is a rooftop swimming pool, with plenty of sun beds, when we were there, parasols, and seating area around the rooftop, also a good-sized bar serving snacks and various drinks. Now for the surrounding area, only a few minutes walking distance to the hustle and bustle of winding streets full of bars, restaurants, souvenir shops, supermarkets, clothes stores, jewellery shop. It has it all, so you need plenty of money to spend. Found the drinks and restaurant prices fair. Would recommend popping into the local bars, restaurants away from the tourist areas, all friendly and appreciate your custom, also cheaper in price. The beach also in walking distance only a few minutes away. There is a bus depot central in Lloret de mar, all within walking distance to hotels if you're staying on the main road. We caught the bus from Barcelona airport to Lloret, which was cheaper than a taxi or transport booked via package deal, only took approximately 1&half hrs. But remember to pre book tickets as so popular nowadays. It's easy to do.
The weather was perfect, around 26° but felt hotter most days. Would I recommend this hotel? Yes, I would. BUT bare in mind it may not be perfect for you. Everyone's expectations are different too mine.
