Stroll through the narrow, picturesque streets of Sartène's old town and discover its medieval quarter. Built on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Gulf of Valinco, it offers exceptional panoramic views stretching as far as the Bavella peaks.
It's the best known in the region. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturday mornings in summer and every Saturday out of season, stock up on charcuterie, Sartène honey, sheep's tome, oil, canistrelli, and everything else you need to prepare delicious ...Corsican dishes.
The Ospedale Forest offers a range of activities: you can try tree climbing, canyoning, swimming in the lake, via ferrata on the rock faces, horse riding and mountain biking.
Explore the Ospedale forest, a forest of pine and beech trees criss-crossed by numerous hiking trails. Don't miss the magnificent Piscia di Ghjaddu waterfall, with its 60-metre drop.
