The renovated Le Fort de la Rade residence is an old building steeped in history that was built within a fortified enclosure on the Ile d'Aix. This completely pedestrianised island is a little corner of natural paradise. The residence is 300 m from ...the jetty, beach and shops at the tip of Sainte-Catherine.
It comprises a single-storey building and some charming garden-level maisonettes. Each interior has been tastefully decorated to create cosy retreats ideal for families. The added bonus? Outside of the summer months, you can warm up by the fireplace at reception.
For swimming, opt for the sandy beach, or our heated outdoor pool (open June to September). Cycle around the island, or take a boat trip out to sea while you're on holiday. It's just perfect for recharging your batteries!
