Residence Le Fort de la Rade

It's been years since we chose Fort de la Rade as a stopover on the island of Aix and until now we had only praised this place... ... and like old regulars we have a few traditions, like asking for a room on the mainland side (apartment with mezzanine) but this year, it's the first year where we haven't been able to choose, despite the emails I've received sent before departure... and which had not been read because the person at reception that I called from the boat before arriving was not even aware of it! Another old habit also disappeared, being able to order bread and pastries the day before and collect them the next morning... service ended because catering has been abandoned!!! In short, a magnificent place but which seems to me to have been abandoned by Pierre et Vacances!!!!
