The Désert de Platé: a limestone plateau carved out by glaciers and meltwater. Its mineral soil has earned it the name of desert. It offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. This site is also home to unique flora and fauna.
There's no season for fondue, raclette or tartiflette! Make the most of your stay in Flaine to delight your taste buds with mountain specialities after a day spent in the great outdoors.

In Flaine, we offer you the Flaine Summer Pass, which gives you access to a wide range of sporting and cultural activities.
On the ...programme: Accro-Roc course, adventure course for the very young, pumptrack (area reserved for mountain bikes), laser rifle, tennis, archery, trampolines, bouncy castles, pétanque, table tennis, accro bungee, art centre and much more.
With the Flaine Summer Pass, you'll also benefit from a host of discounts with the resort's partners: cinema, aquagym, laser tag, restaurants, etc.
At the Les Terrasses d'Helios premium residence, you can also take advantage of a half-day ‘Discovery of the surrounding area' hike supervised by a mountain leader, and a children's hike (from age 7) every Wednesday.

17 safe, signposted routes for all tastes and abilities are available from the resort, so you can enjoy the beauty of the mountains in summer.
Cluses train station (30 km).
Altibus shuttle (reservation required) from Cluses station to Flaine (stop: Cabinet Médical Flaine Forum), then on foot.
Less shuttle buses run in the summer.

Good well thought out basic skiers accommodation. Decent size apartments with plenty of storage. A bit worn and could do with a refresh but everything worked as it should. Really great convenient location for slopes, bars and restaurants. Wi-Fi not the best but just about ...ok. Ski shop great. I will stay there again as it’s an all round good package. 3 of us in a 1 bedroom apartment. Cooking facilities were well equipped.

Perhaps our favourite ski holiday to date! We were super lucky with the snow, powder and blue skies... Accommodation was perfect... well located, ski hire and a restaurant were accessible from within the main entrance. A 60 second walk to the ski lift. Surprisingly comfy ...beds!
