«Good residence but beware uncovered parking spaces in January weather.»
Excellent skiing holiday. Do watch out if you have a diesel vehicle as the parking is uncovered and temperatures fall consistently below -8C, the freezing point of diesel. Otherwise you need to run the engine regularly during your stay.

«Fantastic stay at Residence Forest Pierre et Vacances New Year 2017»
This is a great place to stay. The apartments have a fantastic location, right next to the slopes. They are spacious and well maintained. Reception staff are helpful. The ski shop is actually in the same building. The ski rooms are spacious and have heated boot racks. There is a bakery service. The free basic wifi package worked well. There was always plenty of hot water. Kitchen has a kettle, toaster, combo oven, dishwasher. A bit short on mugs. You might want to pack a towel - those provided are a bit skimpy.
«Location is great, building needs renovating»
The appartment is just a 2min walk from the pistes. Flaine is great for beginners, as the easy lower pistes are free of charge. There is also a points card, if you just wish to ski on a few higher slopes. The appartment is relatively spacious, but needs redecorating.
«Very enjoyable last-minute stay!»
We are a family of three and we were on a driving holiday. We booked two nights here while on the road and got an excellent deal. The accommodation was relatively easy to find; we were met by a friendly and helpful receptionist, who, without being asked, upgraded us to a spacious sixth floor apartment with a stupendous view of the mountains. The apartment could sleep six (!) and was very well kitted out. The apartment block is situated in a pleasant valley with other blocks and a range of facilities (shops, cafes, restaurants, play areas, etc) within easy walking distance. There are also good walks from the accommodation, as well as a cable car up to breathtaking views of Mont Blanc and the Grand Massif. Overall, very difficult to fault this accommodation for a short stay like ours; or for a longer holiday. PT&A from Devon, UK
