Beautiful area (located in a state park). The gardens are stunning. The apartments are simple but functional. As mentioned in other comments the walls are a bit thin but since the other residents were all families noise was never an issue. The main issues with the apartment was humidity. With it's proximity to the ocean stuff (i.e. beds, towels...) tend to stay damp. Finally since the place is Midway between the Hendaye and St Jean de Luz (and quite far from any beach) you will be spending quite some time driving-around/parking.
