ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS

Our accommodation prices include a snow guarantee, only valid during the Winter Season 2016/2017 by which you may claim your holiday booking to be cancelled where the following cumulative conditions are fulfilled:

- The initial booking must have been made directly with GROUPE PIERRE & VACANCES: Using the website, by visiting a GROUPE PIERRE & VACANCES shop, directly at GROUPE PIERRE & VACANCES residences, or at a booking centre, excluding those not booked directly from GROUPE PIERRE & VACANCES , and in particular Tour Operators

- The booking must concern a holiday taking place on a site of the brand "PIERRE & VACANCES PREMIUM", "PIERRE & VACANCES RESORT", "PIERRE & VACANCES MONTAGNE" or "MAEVA" located in the mountains.

WHAT THE GUARANTEE COVERS ?

Subject to compliance with the terms and conditions mentioned above, you may make a claim for cancellation of your holiday in the event of a lack or excess of snow where the three following cumulative conditions are fulfilled: When it occurs in the five (5) days preceding your departure, in resorts located at an altitude of over 1,500 meters, between the 3rd Saturday of December and the 2nd Saturday in April, and entails the closure of a minimum of 2/3 of the ski slopes normally in service on the location of your stay. Compensation is paid after deduction of the specific excess amount stated in the cover and excess amounts table. This excess also applies to the persons booked on the same trip as you, at the same time.

how to make the claim ?

You must inform PVCP of your cancellation, then contact Mondial Assistance within five working days of the event covered by the guarantee.To do this, you must confirm your cancellation by visiting their website directly https://declaration-sinistre.mondial-assistance.fr or by contacting Mondial Assistance at 00 33 (0)1 42 99 03 95 (from 9am to 6pm Monday through Friday or by fax: 00 33 (0)1 42 99 03 25 by making reference to contract No.304 056. Mondial Assistance will send you a form to fill out requesting verifiable proof confirming the excess or lack of snow as well as: the original cancellation invoice made out by PVCP. You must then return the form to the following address: Mondial Assistance, Service Gestion des Sinistres, DT001, 54 rue de Londres, 75394 Paris Cedex 08.

amount of refunds

You will be refunded sums paid on account and any sums retained by GROUPE PIERRE & VACANCES, excluding administration costs paid initially. The refund is paid minus the specific deductibles shown in the following Guarantee Amount Table. The guarantee is granted provided that the rental accommodation is fully vacated. All of the tourist services covered by the Snow Guarantee, whether they be additional or successive, constitute a single holiday, for which only one date of departure is taken into account: the date given by GROUPE PIERRE & VACANCES for the beginning of the services insured.
