I'm going to be brutally honest here: I rarely write complaints. Generally, if I've had a positive experience, I prefer to leave it at that.

However, there are exceptions. When I first saw this hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money. Don't get me wrong, my stay was relatively pleasant. I recognise that it’s not a 5-star establishment, but it was still enjoyable.

The issue arose at the end of our stay, which tainted our overall impression of the holiday. My three roommates and I, all sensible lads unlike some of the other guests, spent a good two hours cleaning the room and folding our used bed sheets. We were satisfied with our efforts.

When we went downstairs to collect our deposit and check out, we encountered the rudest person I've ever met – and I say this as someone who has worked in law enforcement. She made us wait for over twelve minutes while she finished a conversation with her colleague. Then, after inspecting our room, she returned and accused us of breaking a mirror.

I must stress that we are responsible individuals who followed all the rules. We did not cause this damage. When I protested our innocence, she dismissed our pleas and retorted, "If it wasn’t you, why didn’t you report it when you first entered the room?"

I was shocked. I’ve never stayed at a hotel where guests are expected to conduct a thorough inspection upon arrival.

My advice to anyone considering this hotel is to stay well clear. Unless you're prepared to perform structural assessments, check for damp, and perhaps even rewire the apartment, it's not worth the risk of losing your deposit. We lost 200 euros that day – don’t let it happen to you.

Please see below of the alleged damage we caused, let it be known the other sliding door was infront of the broken mirror throughout our stay and didn't see the broken door on arrival or at any point, there is a few reviews stating our same issue and beginning to think it is a scam.

Room's where clean n fresh, desk staff not all that friendly (seemed stressed) and it's kind of out of the way from main strip but only about 10/15min walk to beach.

The hotel gets a roasting in its reviews, but the hotel is what it is. This hotel is for groups after cheap accommodation on weekends away with the lads or lasses. The staff are ok, the rooms are decent, the pool area isn't the biggest but that's ok. Prices for ale etc in the hotel are not too bad. Taxi are required to get around if you're not a fan of walking other than that it's 10 minutes to strip. You pay a deposit on the room, follow the rules, you get it back, pay cash, and not card is my tip. Overall, it's a cheap and cheerful hotel. We booked through jet 2, and this is never a jet 2 hotel, nor is it for kids or familes

Booked the Pierre & Vaccances Benidorm East & west were sent here due to overbooking.
Balcony in permanent shade, stairway and landing not cleaned in 5 days.

We’ve previously written a review about how we had not received our deposit, however now it has been 15 days and still nothing when we were told 7 days? Can someone get back to us about this please as we have emailed, and rang the hotel so many times but no one answers at all.
