Enter a fantasy world where silence reigns supreme and where ice is the medium for art of a different kind. A visit to la Grotte de Glace in Bourg Saint Michel is a chance to sample something completely different. You'll marvel at the giant sculptures and be astounded by their purity; indeed they are reminiscent of lumps of precious stone. There is a new theme every year, resulting in impressive, original creations.
La Station bowling alley
After a long day's skiing, what better way to relax than going bowling. La Station offers 8 bowling lanes, 5 billiard tables, table football, pinball and video games. In addition to the bowling alley and games room, the complex also offers visitors a bar area and tapas, with big screens screening plenty of sports events.
St. Martin's Church
What makes the church of Saint Martin in Bourg Saint Maurice special is its hexagonal bell tower and great door facing the Isère valley. Built in 1691, the church has highly original architectural features: three naves and three bays with a flat apse. This is your chance to visit a unique building, a symbol of the historic and cultural heritage of the region.
Mille 8 is a leisure space open to all with a variety of winter sports activities on offer. Have a go on the toboggan run or the discovery piste in the forest. Beginners can find their feet in the beginners' space and try out some of the fun modules. And for those who prefer to have fun in the water, there's also the aqualudic centre, a 3,800 m² space with a variety of pools, a water games area for kids and a wellbeing space for those seeking some peace and quiet. Hungry? Head to the Lodge, the on-site restaurant.
La Ferme de Reberty
With a restaurant, a pub bar, and a south-facing terrace for sunny breakfasts at the foot of the slopes, La Ferme de Reberty's authentic interior is also a great setting for gastronomic nights out. Try out the farm specialities, including beef sashimi with wasabi, steak with mushrooms, St. Jacques scallops, and all the Savoyard classics (raclette, fondue, etc.), as well as the traditional "pain perdu" bread pudding. Shuttle buses are available to take you home.
