The Sacred Art Festival in Antibes is one of the most important religious music festivals in the world.
The concerts take place mainly in Antibes Cathedral, situated amongst the fortifications of the old town centre. Featuring a carved stone choir dating from the 11th century which produces beautiful acoustics, the cathedral is the perfect setting for such artistic and musical expression, from classic pieces to lesser known works worth discovering.
The Sacred Art Festival is typically the first festival of the season in the Cote d'Azur region. Over the years, the festival has seen performances from some of the greatest ensembles and best known international soloists as well as offering this prestigious musical stage to local artists and groups.
