Visitors can discover old colourful fishing boats moored at the Quai des Pêcheurs (Fisherman's Wharf). Certified a "clean port" the Port de Sainte-Maxime respects the environment for the pleasure of sailors and walkers.

    • Eglise Sainte-Maxime

      Eglise Sainte-Maxime

The Church of Sainte-Maxime was built in 1755. The expansion of the village led to the building being expanded in the middle of the 19th century and also in 1869 when the Sacred Heart and Sainte-Maxime chapels were built. In 1938 the building took on its current form with the demolition of the presbytery to add a side-aisle.
Inside this church make sure you admire the marble high altar, which is listed as Beaux-Arts. The Romanesque portal also demands to be admired, as do the ceramic tympana dating from 1973.
