    Inaugurated on 12 March 2006, the statue of Pescalune is the work of sculptor Ben K.
    It evokes the famous legend of Pescalune. In Lunel, in the 15th century, the fishermen from this small hamlet developed a fishing technique to catch lots of eels. By baiting the bottom of baskets held by ropes, the fishermen caught the voracious eels on moonless nights. This practice of night fishing, on dark nights, quickly became a legend - the fishermen seemed in effect to have fished the moon!

    forty-three metres in height in the heart of Palavas-les-Flots on the Mediterranean coastline, this lighthouse is an old water tower shaped like a mushroom and affords breathtaking views of the city from its bar and revolving restaurant.

    Customers reach the top via the two elevators that ascend ten floors at great speed. They can enjoy a leisurely drink and a meal overlooking land or the sea. The full rotation lasts one and half hours.
