Spacious, well maintained villa with great pool. We travelled during a heatwave so the aircon in the living space really made a difference, even helping to cool the downstairs bedrooms. However the upstairs bedrooms were very hot the first couple of nights, so we all slept downstairs. Aircon in the bedrooms would be helpful given the recent high summer temperatures in France. The shutters were useful to keep the heat out though and fans were provided.

It was brilliant to have a private pool which was heated to a perfect temperature and had a fantastic electric pool cover to keep the kids safe. We made good use of the Weber electric BBQ too.

The complex was well maintained and staff were helpful and friendly. Any minor issues in the villa were sorted by the maintenance team quickly.
Reception area and park were great for kids to play in. The grass could’ve been better watered on site as most of it had dried out / died, especially in our garden area.

But on the whole we had a wonderful 7 night stay at Les Villas d’Olonne and would certainly return for another stay in the future. Thank you :-)

2nd stay here as loved it so much. Staff lovely and helpful. The bread and pastry (to order fresh daily) were very good. Nice food trucks that come to site. Only advice on ordering from these is to go way before the 6.30pm recommendation, otherwise you end up you are in a pre-made queue waiting up until 9pm for your food ordered. Didn’t matter to us but if you were hungry or had hungry kids it’s quite a wait. Accommodation was well maintained and clean. Real bonus with having two bathrooms also. Pool is lovely and eating outside is easy as the table is large and can seat six nicely. Local supermarket and Mall 10min drive away and really good selection in both for self catering in the villas. Would recommend.

We booked this villa in June 2026. What was not disclosed to us was that the development abuts a riding school and our villa was next door to a few fields of 20 or so horses. The stench in the heat of horse manure was quite unbearable; such that the outdoor area could not be used.

We checked out early. Pierre & Vacances has been utterly uncooperative and has not acknowledged any issue. Be careful. Avoid.

We understand how disappointing it must have been to feel unable to fully enjoy the outdoor space during your holiday.

We also regret that you decided to leave the resort outside the reception's opening hours. Had we been informed of your concerns while our team was available, we would have done our utmost to assist you and explore possible solutions, including the possibility of relocating you to another accommodation.

It is worth noting that you were staying in our largest villa, which enjoys a spacious and peaceful setting overlooking open fields. While this location is often appreciated by guests seeking a rural and tranquil environment, it is true that horses can occasionally be present in the neighbouring fields. We fully understand, however, that individual sensitivities and expectations may differ, and we are sorry that this aspect of the surroundings detracted from your stay.

Because we were genuinely concerned by your dissatisfaction, we took the initiative to offer a commercial gesture as a goodwill measure, despite the fact that the presence of the neighbouring fields and horses is beyond our control. Unfortunately, this proposal was declined.

While we respect your opinion, we are sincerely disappointed that we were not given the opportunity to address your concerns during your stay and find a satisfactory solution together. Nevertheless, we remain sorry that your holiday experience fell short of your expectations and wish you all the best for your future travels.

We had an amazing stay here and loved every minute. We went with our son, my parents and my dog and it was perfect for all of us. The freshly baked bread and pastries that you can purchase that get delivered daily is amazing and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The only things to be aware of are that there isn’t an oven in the property and there are no shops that you can walk to. There is, however, a delightful family run Italian restaurant that is walkable and does amazing food.
