Excellent location, have stayed in this property a number of times. It’s located in the centre of the Mottaret ski station , beside a number of restaurants of various price ranges . The nearest supermarket is 2 mins walk and a park with lovely walks is less than 10 mins walk.
«Just about perfect»
There are many things that make this particular Residence ideal. The first of course is that it is Motteret, which I rank as one of the best ski locations in Europe. Motteret is at the heart of the 3 vallys and is great to start any ski day from. But what is especially good is the building itself... a perfect ski in-ski out location with NO difficulties or long treks in getting to shops, outstanding restaurants, ski rental, instruction centres, and great pubs. The flats are well serviced and comfortable, and staff are friendly and helpful.

Our staff always does their best to make your stay comfortable. We will forward your post to them. We would be honored to welcome you and your family, as loyal guests, the next time! Have stayed on more than 1 occasion. On the other occasions we had an apartment for 4 , this time we were given one for 5 people. We were just a couple but I think it would be very crowded with more than 3 people. The location is very good for skiing or for mountain activities in general. Ample free parking close by and indoor paid parking.

Just lucky we were allocated main building on the Front Neige. The staff were very nice but the accommodation was very expensive for very basic apartment. Did not have high expectations which was lucky. The restaurant downstairs was excellent

«Summer in Meribel»
We brought a 1 year-old and 4 year-old to the Alps to cool off in the Summer. This was one of our all-time favorite trips and we wish we had stayed longer. Since none of us ski, the summer during the off-season was a no-brainer. It helps if you speak some French (thankfully my wife is French), but you can manage well enough if you're the typical American like me. I really can't recommend this town enough for a family with small children. There are several activities the kids will love to do (and every day), including a day camp if you're trying to get some alone time (we kept our kids with us). We really enjoyed renting bikes for an easy ride around the nearby lake. There's a small farm by the lake for the kids to chat with the pigs and cows. Then, relax for an ice cream and/or drink by the lake with a postcard view of the surrounding mountains. The staff are very attentive and enjoy being able to really take care of you during the off-season. I really can't wait to go back and will probably make this a mandatory destination every time we go back to visit family. I'm even inspired to learn how to ski in case we go back during the winter. Bon voyage!
