Loved this apartment! Excellent ski-in ski-out location, very nicely decorated and it has everything we needed. We were 5 of us sharing a 4 bedroom unit with beautiful views. Don't forget to check-out the saunas in the complex! We left it for too late and then regretted not going there sooner :-)

Good location for the slopes and the village, which is quiet but has a nice bar and a good bakery. The bus to Méribel Centre isn’t very frequent, especially outside peak times, which can make getting kids to ski school a bit difficult.

Rooms are basic and the kitchen is very small. The pool was handy after skiing but unfortunately quite cold.

There’s a nice lounge with a kids’ play area and pool table, but it closes very early (7:30pm). When it closed one evening, the receptionist was abrupt and even switched off the lights while we were still gathering our things, leaving us using phone torches.

Service overall was poor. A late checkout (advertised on the website for a fee) was refused very abruptly, and because reception closes at lunchtime, one member of our group couldn’t collect their bags later and therefore couldn’t ski that morning. Reception should really be open all day on changeover days or provide a way for guests to access their luggage.

Pierre is listed as premium, but has definite room for improvement from age and decor of rooms to facilities. It’s redeeming factor is the sauna pool area but outside this has little appeal at this price bracket. Issues:
- central social are with books, fireplace etc is shut whenever you want it ie after skiing. They only have two staff for the whole facility and so they just close reception and the communal areas at 18.45.
- after a long day skiing you want a fire and book, maybe mix with other guests - not possible.
- staff said repeatedly complained about but owners don’t want to pay for extra staff. Very poor.
- rooms are tired. We were in chalet f, room 10. It’s the details - no shelf in shower for soap etc, no hooks for hanging ski gear etc in your bedroom just in hall, no where to hang towels in bathroom. Again, not well thought out.
- ski room. I’ve never seen a non heated ski room so that boots etc dry. This one is simply cupboard for your gear, cold and unheated. Nothing will dry. Again - minimal guest investment for max profit.

Overall unimpressed

Tired, run down and small apartments. Would not recommend staying here for anything other than the convenience of getting to a lift in the morning.

We’re sorry to hear that the apartment didn’t meet your expectations, Tom. We understand that comfort and space are important, especially for a ski vacation, and we’ll take your comments about the condition of the apartments into consideration. It’s good to hear that the location was convenient for getting to the lift, but we’ll work on improving other aspects to make the stay more enjoyable for future guests.
