We were booked in from the 15th till the 22nd October 2025 but didn’t arrive until the early hours of the 16th, was greeted by the man working on reception, the language barrier was quite an issue as we had to use Google translate to speak to him the majority of the time. We headed upstairs and stayed in room 418, my fiancé found little beetles crawling in the bathroom, maybe something to do with the issue of the shower and each time it was used the water flooded all over the floor. The smell inside the room was horrendous, the towels smelt of food?.it is a short walk from the hotel to the beach but each time me and my fiancé walked down the alley the locals would spit in front of us and tut maybe because we’re British I’m not sure but I’d assume they are used to tourists?? My fiancé did not feel very safe whenever we had to walk back to the hotel or even in the hotel as she was bitten(now we know by our doctors to be by a black fly) and the hotel staff did not care at all. I know they aren’t doctors and it isn’t their job but they couldn’t have been less helpful, she is very anxious to begin with and they just looked extremely shocked and said they’d recommend the hospital as the pharmacy couldn’t tell us what had bitten her and give us eczema cream??(no fault of the hotel)
We eventually ended up moving rooms ( neither of the air conditioners worked blew out warm air) as they give us 2 single beds pushed together and as quite tall people we didn’t fit we kept falling between the middle and our feet hanging off the end of the bed. We moved to 112 and the smell was even worse we were heaving!! We had a balcony but there was a tree just outside and an abundance of mosquitos and flies just swarmed our balcony which worried my fiancé more as she’d already been bitten and had a very bad allergic reaction.
We booked in for breakfast but didn’t even try it;as English people there simply wasn’t any food catered to us, maybe for French or German guests and the food that was for an English breakfast looked vile so we ended up having to eat out every breakfast ( we recommend route 66).

My fiancé ended up feeling very dizzy and nearly fainted whilst we were at a restaurant and we had bad news our dog had escaped so we decided to pack our bags and check out and get on the next available flight home. We told the younger guy at reception of our circumstances and he couldn’t have cared less he had no empathy and didn’t even say goodbye to us which I don’t think is very good customer service and has just topped every bad thing that has happened here. I don’t know why this hotel was been awarded a 4 star rating because to us it is more of a 3.

Lastly as I forgot to mention the rooftop pool and bar was probably the only okay thing about the hotel the dark haired man who served us was very cheerful and kind and had no problem speaking to us or bringing any drinks to our table. The pool is definitely too cold to swim, I went in once and didn’t get back in, it is FREEZING cold. My fiancé got a cheese pizza( stonebaked) and it was solid there was barely any tomato and a meagre amount of cheese sprinkled on top with a pool of grease. Personally I do not recommend this hotel at all and advise against any Brits coming here!!!!!!!

That said, we sincerely apologize that your experience fell short in some areas. We regret that the communication at reception did not meet your expectations, and understand how important it is to feel comfortable and supported during your stay. All the employees at the front desk speak inglish and french, so we will check what happened. The AACC is off, as its 15 degrees at night and we had lots of complains about cold, we are sorry about that. The concerns you mentioned about the sense of security, the insects, and the breakfast selection will be carefully considered with our teams. We are sorry too for the discomfort with the pool temperature and bar food.

Nonetheless, we appreciate you highlighting the convenient location just minutes from Lloret Beach and the helpful service from our rooftop bar team. Your suggestions and honest impressions are valuable to us as we continuously strive to enhance the experience for all our guests.

We hope you will allow us the opportunity to welcome you again and provide a much improved stay.

The customer service is on top. The rooms are always so well cleaned and there was a nice balcony. They provided the essential toiletries such as body wash,shampoo and soap. The top roof swimming pool is amazing
The breakfast is always so yummy and the waitresses were always nice. Our house cleaner Katia was very good and left the room so cleaned.

We recently stayed at Hotel Lloret Santa Rosa and overall had a great experience. The hotel is in a perfect location — just a short walk from the beach, shops, and restaurants, making it super convenient for exploring Lloret de Mar.

The staff were absolutely amazing — always friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. We especially loved the rooftop bar, which was a lovely place to unwind in the evenings with great views and a relaxed atmosphere.

That said, one downside was the noise — the walls are extremely thin and we could hear everything from the neighbouring rooms, which did make it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. It seems like the hotel mostly caters to a younger crowd, so there was a bit of late-night noise too.

Still, if you’re looking for a lively, well-located hotel with great service and rooftop vibes, this is a solid choice. We definitely enjoyed our stay!
