Overall, our experience was less than ideal. Communication was challenging as few staff members spoke English, and our room felt quite old and outdated.

While we understand the village aims to offer a unique, Disney-like atmosphere, our room didn't live up to expectations. Despite booking as a couple, we were given two single beds instead of a double bed. Although we could push the beds together, they tended to slide apart, making it quite inconvenient.

We ended up sleeping in the living room, which was uncomfortable and left little space for daily activities. Additionally, we didn't feel very welcome when staff realized we didn't speak French. Basic questions were often met with unclear answers, and finding staff to assist with activities like tennis or mini golf was difficult.

Ultimately, we decided to leave early as the overall experience did not meet our expectations. For young couples and non-French speakers, we would recommend considering alternative accommodations.

Overall the worst possible experience, avoid this place at all costs! Would give 0 stars if I could!

We arrived for a 4 day stay two years ago and the whole place was a building site, despite advertising an amazing pool and beautiful facilities on their website upon booking, we arrived and the pool was under construction and most of the other facilities were closed or out of bounds due to the time of season. When it came to dinner, all the restaurants on site were also closed or under construction, we ended up having to make do with what food we had left over from our journey and some supplementary snacks we brought from the shop. When we then went to put our toddler to bed after what had so far been a disaster of an afternoon, the cot provided had some blankets laid over the bare wooden slats, no mattress, I asked at reception for a cot mattress and they said they had none. We ended up leaving immediately and had to book a last minute hotel 45 mins away as that was the nearest we could find so last minute, our toddler ended up going to bed hungry and very tired. To add insult to injury they never refunded us the £800 we paid for the stay as they claimed they had made it clear in the T&Cs that the pool was under construction and that we left by choice (obviously we had no choice given there was nowhere for our child to sleep!). Overall, I would say the whole experience was borderline illegal!

Needless to say, we will never be returning to Belle Dune or any other Pierre et Vacances location, and will strongly advise others to seek alternatives too.

We are deeply sorry to hear about the challenges you faced during your stay, Daniella. It is unacceptable that the amenities advertised were unavailable and that the cot provided for your toddler was inadequate.

We understand the frustration of arriving to find essential facilities under construction, especially without prior notice. Your situation was exacerbated by the lack of dining options and the unacceptable condition of the cot. Leaving and finding alternative accommodation should not have been necessary, and we regret the impact this had on your family's comfort and well-being.

Regarding the refund, we apologize for the inconvenience and misunderstanding. We will review our terms and conditions to ensure clarity and prevent similar issues in the future.

We appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve. We are committed to addressing these concerns to better serve our guests. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we sincerely apologize for your experience.

The houses look beautiful, I felt like in Disneyland or fairytale.
Yet keep in mind they are super small, for the family of 4 I recommend 6 people house with 2 bedrooms, as they are super tiny.
