Booked a last minute stay here slightly out of season (end of September) so we weren't expecting the place to be busy and that's exactly how we found it.
I'd imagine it could get quite busy in the height of season but not in a bad way. It's essentially a village of little colourful houses surrounded by forest, lakes and nearby beaches.
We stayed in the Maisons de plage area which had exclusive access to an outdoor (but coverable) pool.
The main pool is very clean and has both indoor and outdoor facilities including a water slide and a great big box of water wings for the little ones.(outdoor slides were closed when we went but looked great) Please note that they don't allow loose shorts for men, just lycra swimming shorts or briefs.
Staff were both friendly and helpful and you can borrow board games if you want some family entertainment in your accommodation.
The local towns were very quiet, but handy that a few shops were open. Quend Plage is the closest (easy walking distance if you are staying at the Maisons de la Plage area) and had a bakery and a few shops/bars open then a little bit further in the opposite direction is Fort Mahon Plage which was slightly larger with more shops and bars/restaurants.
Great surroundings if you like walking and there's a golf course on site if that's your thing.
Really easy to find (this was my first time driving abroad and I found it easily enough) and only a 20 minute drive to the nearest larger town if you needed supermarkets etc.
All in all it was a pleasant few days away.

Just had a good week at Belle Dune. It's a village we've been to several times in the past. The house we had was an older style and was a bit tired so if that's import at to you book a superior one. Theication is excellent t near to the wonderful beaches at Quend Plage and Forth Mahon Plage and in the beautiful Somme Bay. Lots of places to visit nearby and a great swimming pool complex on site. Lots of extended family groups here having a great time! There was a very good shop on site with a good range of alcohol (including local beers) fresh bread, fruit, veg and croissants every day and very friendly staff.

We're thrilled to hear that you had a good time overall, Angela.

We understand the importance of accommodation preferences, and your insight into the older style of the accommodation is valuable. We'll certainly take this into consideration as we work on maintaining and updating our properties.

It's great to know that you enjoyed the excellent location near Quend Plage and Fort Mahon Plage, the beautiful Somme Bay, and the convenience of the on-site swimming pool complex. We're also pleased to hear that our on-site shop and its friendly staff contributed to a positive experience for you.

We look forward to the possibility of hosting you again in the future.

Nice place with a great view on the golf! Very pleasant.

The rooms are not so clean at their reception, and a car is needed to go to the beach or even to the swimming pool with small children.
The weather is cold! Especially when going out from the pool...

I recommend to test this place only once.

We spent an amazing experience in Belle Dune Village with our family. The resort was comfortable, but there were some difficulties. Due to ambiguous directions and the resort's enormous size—especially at night—it took us some time to find our way there.
It was cold and rainy when we visited and the pool area was closed for maintenance. In the summer, this aspect can be more fun. The resort itself appeared to be quite cosy but in an outdated design. For toddlers and infants, they have a really lovely and clean nursery.
The Belle town is next to a stunning French beach.
We discovered that when travelling with children, it was essential to pack extra food, milk, and diapers because these items weren't easily accessible. On one occasion, we even ran out of milk, and the nearest store had closed early that day, so we were in a tight spot. The level of customer service left us feeling let down. Even with these minor setbacks, our family's time together was fantastic.
