highly recommended! Quiet, surrounded by the nature, cozy and clean and well-furnished room, many delicious french breakfast and meals available in the site and in the city close-by. The service has been organized very professional and disciplined. We extended our stay and we will come back again :- )
We stayed in one of the refurbished rooms which was nice and light and colourful. The building itself is in need of more attention as the paintwork is a little worn. The outside corridors to the rooms are dirty and did not get any cleaning during our stay as there was bird poop everywhere from some nesting swallow. The layout of the accommodation around the lake is fabulous with lovely walks to the nearby villages through pine forests and sand dunes on a well defined path. The communal areas could do with some weeding and tidying up to make it look more inkeeping with this lovely location. I would say to the owners, "Please pay some attention to the grounds of this lovely place". That said, the staff are very friendly and accommodating and the whole area is extremely dog friendly which was a very big plus point for us.
Really nice place to stay, a stroll to the beach, epic sunsets, lots to see in the area. Quiet during the day but bring earplugs for the night as the toads can be very noisy all night!
