It's a beautiful place, with a lovely pond and charming little houses, but unfortunately, the upkeep leaves much to be desired. The green spaces are poorly maintained, the fences are badly damaged, and some of the lampposts are broken or very dirty. The restaurant windows are in a deplorable state and probably haven't been cleaned for months. There are many potholes in the cobbled lanes, the rental bikes are old and poorly maintained, and the garbage containers are overflowing. There seems to be very little staff, and those who are there are unfriendly. In short, there's a lot of work to be done... for the manager, who should be making this a priority. It's a shame because the place is very pretty.

A nice and pleasant place, but without a car it's quite limited! The rooms are clean, but the whole place is a bit dated. Apart from the water park, there aren't many activities. However, it's ideal for peace and quiet and walks. The staff is welcoming.

Super quiet place and a lovely pool

So where to begin? Much more negative than positive.

We left after only two and a half days, even though we had booked for seven.

Highlighting an aqua club on their website is great, but mentioning that it's the municipal swimming pool would be even better. And the pedal boats on the lake weren't available either due to low water levels.

No security whatsoever. Anyone can wander around the village, anyone can park in front of the rentals, no enforcement, no cameras.

It would be nice to have evening activities for the whole family, because a mentalist show restricted to those 18 and over, or other evenings with age restrictions and prices, isn't ideal for younger children. A children's evening at €15 for ages 7 and up, with reservations, is fantastic considering the price of the stay. And don't even get me started on the cartoon movie nights.

The only free activities at Pierre & Vacances are yoga, muscle toning, and stretching. Is this a senior citizens' club?

The green spaces are poorly maintained, if at all. Vehicles park on the pedestrian walkways because there are no more spaces in the designated parking area; we were forced to park in the road.

There are no shutters in the rentals, only blackout curtains that let in a lot of light.

The little train accessible to everyone (belonging to the Tourist Office and the town hall): if you take it to the beach and it's full on the return trip, you'll have to wait an hour for it to come back.

The rental had a terrace, but there was no privacy. Nothing was enclosed; residents walked right past us, and children came to play on our terrace and watch what was happening in our rental. The wooden footbridge leading to the village center is rather dangerous, aging, and has wobbly wooden planks.

There are no toilets in the holiday village.

Upon our arrival, the cleaning was very minimal: beard hairs in the sink…
Several outdoor chairs were broken and repaired with small metal plates and rivets.

Airbnb accommodation, the location is fantastic, with a view of the pond from the balcony.
A little noisy in the evening, but still reasonable.
