  • Casa Milà or La Pedrera by Gaudi

Casa Milà or La Pedrera by Gaudi

The Casa Mila, known as La Perdrera, is a fascinating edifice. Designed by Gaudi, it was intended to bring life to an ordinary apartment block, though the apartments were never rented out. Today it is one of the most visited building in the city. Gaudi's style leaves a lasting impression on everyone who lays eyes on his work, and La Perdrera is perhaps the most representative of his style. It seems to have grown organically, inspired by nature, water in particular, with structures shaped like human bones. It has been a great inspiration for many an artist since.

  • Casa Batlló

    Casa Batlló

The Casa Batllo, or "House of Batlo" in Catalan, was raised in 1877 by E. Sala i Cortes. It was transformed by Gaudi in 1904 at the request of a rich proprietor named José Batlló i Casanovas. The building is located in the heart of the Eixample neighbourhood on the Passeig de Gracia. A large part of the original furniture, designed by Gaudi himself, is displayed at the Gaudi Museum (in the Park Güell).
Along with six other buildings designed by Gaudi, the casa Batlló was listed as a Unesco World Heritage monument, in 1984.

  • Parc de Montjuic

    Parc de Montjuic

It’s in one of the essential tourist areas of Barcelona, Montjuic, that you’ll find the park of the same name. The true green lung of the Catalan city, you can enjoy nature during walks, sports or cultural activities. The gardens are many and varied, specialising in cacti (Mossèn Costa i Llobera) and waterfalls (Laribal). Located on the hill at a height of 177 m, Mount Montjuic offers a beautiful panoramic view of the city of Barcelona.

  • Museu Picasso

    Museu Picasso

The Picasso Museum in Barcelona is the best place to immerse yourself in the famous artist's formative years. The young Picasso's talent is revealed through more than 4,000 works that make up the permanent collection of this seminal cultural site. This collection is practically complete as far as the blue period.
The buildings housing these works are worth a visit themselves: five large palaces or town houses. Some of them date back to the 13th and 14th centuries and are a beautiful examples of Catalan Gothic architecture.

  • Park Güell

    Park Güell

The Park Güell is Antoni Gaudi's ode to nature… His architectural and decorative work, his sculptures, all fit into the surrounding environment like a fish in water. His is a world of organic curves, a world where straight lines are entirely alien. His columns are more like tree trunks, his constructions flow like water, among the mosaic decorations, giving the entire park a magical atmosphere. At the centre of the park the terrace offers a beautiful view of the city.

Along with six other monuments designed by Gaudi, the Park Güell was classified in 1984 as a Unesco World Heritage Monument.
