La daille is a great base for skiing. Cross the road to a lift or funicular and you are in the best ski area of Val d'isere. Local shop has most things and skimium next door. Apartments are typical p&V. Knocked one star off as door to balcony needs urgent attention to stop incoming wind. Friendly front desk team. Free busses are super too.

Stayed in a two bed apartment with three children. There was ample room in the apartment for everything.

Very modern layout and right across the road from the end of La Daille ski slope.
Located about a 10/15 min walk into Val D’isere
Parking was under the apartments which was great but it was an additional 120 euro for the week.
Ski schools for the kids across the road but you need to book early or you get stuck on buses with the kids and skis.

- Kitchen - had everything you need and all new
- living area - two additional beds as sofas turn into beds
- two bathrooms

Very modern and had a lovely balcony.

Only issue was the price - very very expensive for what it was.

Worked out about 500 euro a night - I clearly got the most expensive room in the place

They also require you to pay for
-internet
-cleaning

And the worst thing is you have to clean the kitchen for them

The breakfast is also awful - ordered it one morning and the croissants were rock hard

I wonder how expensive it is for returning customers

I stayed there for a few days in the summer and I enjoyed it. The appartment (1 bedroom) is quite small, comfortable enough for 2 people, but 4 would be tricky. It is a bit far from the centre, but not an issue for me as I was cycling so easy to get around. The building is fairly old and not the pretiest, but lifts were quick and the reception area was quite nice. Nice staff, happy to help. I arrived late and despite the reception being closed I received clear instructions on where to park and the keys kept on a safe. Bedding and towels were provided, which is not common in France. All in all, a nice comfortable stay for a very reasonable price for Val D'Issere.

Old building, not cosy but practical. Ski room is very basic, not even boot warmers. Kitchen is very small, hood makes a lot of noise. Close to lifts, that’s like the only positive element of this run down accommodation. Photos are very different from the real stuff ! WiFi is very very basic, heating didn’t work all the time.

Easy enough to get to and from - the free bus stops right outside. Possibly better for younger people though - I found the two nights on the sofa bed much more painful and difficult to recover from than the 8 days snowboarding! The rooms would benefit from more storage - though as we drove here, perhaps we come with more STUFF than the average family. We struggled to find places for our things and were constantly falling over our own bags! Beautiful views from the balcony. Helpful staff on reception.
