Everything was ok, if you’re beside someone noisy then good luck the walls are like paper rang reception 2 times on our last night to complain about the noise next door and they didn’t do anything until the second phone call, couldn’t sleep at 12/1 in the morning. The pool is ok but you have to queue from 10ish for it opening at half 10 otherwise you’ve a slim chance of getting a sun lounger I am not being a Karen these are the basic problems in the hotel, fire alarm woke us up out of our sleep on the last night and instead of even trying to send people up the floors to tell them there was no fire we all ran down from the 10th floor! Rather safe than sorry and the man at the reception was clueless we told him he should have assured everyone it was okay and he replied “no problem” just very thoughtless, I never really leave reviews so the fact I wrote this one, don’t think I’ll be back the best thing about the hotel is the location right beside everything, make sure you’ve extra money with you though as you have to pay for all the basic essentials like the kettle and safe otherwise it’s just the fridge you get

We stayed in a suite as a family of 4 for 13 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The suite consisted of 2 rooms and a bathroom and was comfortable and spacious. All rooms could be closed with doors, and both bedrooms had a balcony with a perfect view of the sea. There was plenty of space to stow away our belongings in wardrobes, with both shelves and space to hang clothes. We also had a fridge, which was not clear to us from the description when we booked it, which was a pleasant surprise. Our suite was cleaned daily, and generally the hotel was very clean. The only improvement we can think of would be a laundry line on the balcony (similarly to the ones available in the Pierre & Vacances hotel in Salou), but this was not a big issue as we left our swimwear and towels to dry on the outside furniture. We had breakfast in the hotel every day and the selection was excellent. The breakfast room was quite busy around 9:30-10:30 but it was well managed by the hotel staff. We also used the swimming pool three times - it is true that there aren't many sunbeds, in particular in the shadow, so those are gone early, but we chose to use the pool on rest days and queued at the gate in the morning just before it opened so we could secure a place in the shadow with the kids. The location of the hotel couldn't be any better as it is right by the beach, and there are a number of excellent beaches in walking distance. There are plenty of restaurants close by, and the train station is about 8 minutes away. Fuengirola is a terminal and the train line takes you to a number of places along the Costa del Sol, all the way to Malaga. We took a trip to Benalmadena and Carvajal to explore the beaches there, and also went on a hike after taking the funicular from Arroyo de Miel. Overall, the hotel is perfect for just a beach holiday on the Costa del Sol or to explore the area a bit more. We would also highly recommend this hotel for families with kids.

Dear Ruth Nebauer-Fruhwirth,
Thank you for this great feedback about your recent stay at Hotel El Puerto by Pierre & Vacances.

It is with great pleasure that we receive your compliments about your recent experience at our establishment.

We are delighted that you found the suite spacious and well-equipped for your family's needs, with ample storage and the unexpected addition of a fridge. We take pride in the maintenance and cleanliness of our accommodations, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. It is wonderful that you and your family could start each day with a diverse selection of breakfast options in our restaurant.

However, we understand that the absence of a laundry line presented a minor inconvenience. For future stays, please feel free to inquire at our front desk for any additional needs or requests you may have, as our team is always eager to assist.

Finally, we are thrilled that the hotel's prime location significantly enhanced your stay, affording easy access to beautiful beaches, a variety of dining options, and convenient transportation for exploring the Costa del Sol. We are especially pleased that your family found our hotel to be an ideal choice for both relaxation and adventure.
