Due to the severe weather conditions affecting Mallorca, we experienced unexpected power and communication disruptions across the Balearic Islands, which impacted our reception operations and phone lines. Our reception team typically operates until midnight with emergency contact details displayed, but these unforeseen circumstances prevented our usual protocols.
We deeply regret that you found yourself in this challenging situation and have reviewed our contingency plans to better support guests during exceptional events. While Portocolom's natural beauty and proximity to Cala Marçal beach usually provide a welcoming environment, we acknowledge this experience fell far short of our standards.

However, we note your concerns about the humidity affecting the room’s atmosphere. Humidity levels can vary due to natural climate factors in the area, and we encourage guests to use the air-conditioning system designed to improve comfort during their stay. Regarding the unexpected phone calls, such occurrences are uncommon, and our reception is available to assist immediately should any disturbance arise.

We are delighted that your 12-day stay with us felt like home and that the spaciousness and cleanliness of the rooms, as well as the peacefulness provided by our soundproof apartments, contributed to a memorable experience. It is also wonderful to hear that the balcony offered a delightful setting for your morning coffee and that the bed comfort added to your relaxation.
However, we understand your concern regarding the swimming pool hours. Please note that the schedule is designed to ensure guest safety, with lifeguard availability, and also complies with local regulations. Nonetheless, we are glad that the beach proximity offered an alternative option for enjoyment.
Finally, we are pleased that the convenient location, just a few minutes' walk from the beach and restaurants, enhanced your stay. The additional hallway space in the apartment is indeed thoughtfully designed to store travel and beach gear, making it a practical feature for our guests.
