The programme is completely voluntary. It is developed with help from national and international green industry experts and sustainability experts like the United Nations Environment Programme.
The TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence honours select accommodations that consistently demonstrate a commitment to hospitality excellence.
To qualify for the Certificate of Excellence, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.

«Great skiing accomodation»

Les Carroz is a wonderful alpine village and this hotel is central to the village. The accommodation is good and with the Spa, pool and steam rooms it is a real retreat. It is only a very short walk to the restaurants, bars and shops.
Good quality and value - excellent service from the staff. Great to have use of the pool and sauna. Good location, close to the ski bus, although it did go round most of the village before it got to the telecabin (but that did mean it was empty when we got on!)
The Fermes du Soleil is a great place to stay for access to the Grand Massif skiing in the pretty Village of Les Carroz. Quality accommodation, very friendly staff, excellent location close to the Village centre and ski bus stop nearby. Couldn't fault it and we will be returning next year.
The location is fantastic so convenient for the village centre. We paid extra to have a top floor apartment as we thought this would be quieter. Unfortunately the apartments are no very well soundproofed and we heard a long of banging and scraping of chairs from the apartment below. Also we were right above the lift shaft which was very noisy when constantly going up and down in the morning and evenings. The pool and spa area were lovely and the staff extremely helpful, especially Yanna. We hired a 3 bedroom apartment which was supposed to be for 7. However there we only enough sofa space for 4 people. There were only 3 of us so it was fine but certainly would be a real squeeze for 7. If they soundproofed better it would then be an excellent choice of accommodation in a great location.
