«A gem of a stay»
Beautiful fully equipped apartment with the location central to the town. Very friendly and welcoming. The ski bus which is free is just outside, ice rink outside the apartment. Swimming pool and sauna rooms are just what is needed after a day on the slopes. They ring you before you arrive and go through any last minute questions.
«Great Location in the Centre of the Village»
The location is great. We missed not having an oven as I like to cook for the family and we bought loads of stuff I couldn't prepare. The pool is in the main block - a 5 minute walk - part of which is outside. Lovely staff and good undercover parking (extra charge).
Don't book a six berth room if there are 5 or 6 people. It is too small. The table is for four people. To seat six people around the table it needed to pulled out . This meant no one could use the toilet . The room is small, the pull out settee is in the lounge/ kitchen.
«Could be amazing...»
Overall a family friendly well located clean and nice development. But the swimming pool is always cold, the hot tubs are also not hot. The smallest apartments are way too small with the kids bunk beds in my view a little dangerous with a vertical ladder...the main bedroom and bathroom are Good though, if you Can Pay a little (well...a few hundred €) more for a bigger apartment, especially if you plan to eat in... Skiing area is a 10mim bus ride away...les carroz has hardly any ski in ski out accommodation...
«ski weekend Les Carroz»
1. Friendly & helpful staff; both by email prior to coming (in fact they even rang us a week before our arrival to start the ball rolling); and in person once there 2. Lovely building, apartment high standard 3. As you might expect in Alps space somewhat at a premium. Our fault was advertised as being for 6; this would have been a squeeze. For just two of us it was very spacious. 4. Lovely saunas and steam room. 5. Good massages / facials - if a little pricey 6. Jacuzzis cool - same temp as swimming pool. Just about warm enough to sit in, especially if you come there from the sauna. 7. Weekend we were there (late Jan) still seemed to be quite a few kids staying. So pool etc busy (in a fun way) in the evenings. Don't plan to do lengths though. 8. Friendly resort, good skiing and links to Flaines. Didn't seem to be too much going on in town, except an outdoor yodelling concert one night 9. easy walk to shops; easy bus to gondola
