We stayed here from 11–17 August and unfortunately the hotel fell well below what we expected, particularly for somewhere advertised as a 4-star property.

The room was easily the most disappointing part of the stay. It looked very different from the photos online, which show rooms with blue accents and finishing touches that make them look much brighter and more modern. Ours was completely plain, with none of the blue décor shown — not even the small throw at the end of the bed. The overall room felt very drab, dated and in serious need of refurbishment.

There were marks and scuffs on the walls throughout, the bathroom door wouldn’t close properly, and the bathroom itself seemed very cheaply and quickly finished. Every time we showered, the entire bathroom floor flooded because there was no proper seal along the bottom of the shower. We also noticed pieces of grout coming away while showering. For a supposed 4-star hotel, the standard of the room was nowhere near what we expected and felt closer to a basic 2–3 star room. There were also none of the smaller touches you might expect at this level, not even a bottle of water in the room.

The pool area was one of the better aspects of the hotel. It is relatively clean and we saw the cleaning team thoroughly wiping down and cleaning the area every morning. However, it is quite small for the size of the hotel and loungers are taken almost immediately. Despite signs everywhere saying that reserving loungers is not allowed, people regularly leave towels on them to hold their places and this didn’t appear to be enforced. The photos also feature the nicer poolside beds quite prominently, but these cost extra to use, which isn’t necessarily obvious from the images.

We didn’t eat in the hotel, but we did visit the rooftop bar. It is a nice option to have and the setting is pleasant, although we found the prices quite high.

Service overall was mixed. The reception staff we dealt with were friendly and pleasant, but we didn’t have any particularly standout interactions during the week and found some of the pool bar and cleaning staff slightly rude at times.

Overall, this simply did not feel like a 4-star hotel. The pool area is nice and the rooftop is a good addition, but the standard and condition of the room really let the stay down. Based on our experience, it felt closer to a 3-star hotel at best, and unfortunately we wouldn’t return.

I hope my review helps you decide if this hotel is right for you.

We actually booked this hotel by mistake and, after reading the rather poor reviews, were quite worried, especially as we planned to stay for more than 10 days. In the end, we were pleasantly surprised.

The rooms are dated and could use some renovation, but this didn’t bother us. The biggest problem is the doors: they let in light and there is almost ZERO soundproofing. You can hear neighbours slamming doors, shouting and staff moving around the corridors. Noise is definitely the biggest downside. Some guests simply forget they are not staying alone. ?

The bed was fantastic – huge, probably 3 metres wide ? and honestly the most comfortable hotel bed we’ve ever had. The pillow was average, but I slept very well with no neck pain.

The balcony is VERY small, but enough to sit outside in the evening with a cup of tea. Unfortunately, there is nowhere to hang a wet swimsuit or clothes, although some other balconies had this.

The bathroom is also not very practical, especially for women – almost no space for toiletries. Even a small shelf under the sink would help. On the positive side, the water pressure is excellent.

Our biggest disappointment was the arrival. We arrived very early after being awake for almost 24 hours and were exhausted. I had emailed the hotel beforehand (I wrote in English and got a reply in Spanish ?). We were told early check-in was possible for an extra fee, which we accepted, but no rooms were ready.

We waited one hour… two… three… ? I was feeling unwell and needed to lie down, while groups arriving after us seemed to get rooms immediately. Nobody could properly explain why. The lack of communication was very frustrating and really spoiled our first impression.

Food: Amazing at first, but after 10+ days quite repetitive. Breakfast was almost the same every day – mainly eggs, sandwiches and sometimes pancakes. By the end, I never wanted to see another egg. ? Dinner was tasty, but often very oily. There were few lighter options such as porridge or simply cooked food. Food was not always refilled on time either, especially later in the morning. We also noticed that this depended a lot on the staff shift – some teams were excellent, others much less organised.

Rooms are cleaned every day. Sometimes better, sometimes not, but it didn’t bother us.

The pool view is probably the nicest. There is music from around 10:00–20:00, but it didn’t disturb us.

The staff were lovely – friendly and helpful both at reception and in the restaurant. ❤️

If you come mainly for the beach, be prepared for quite a long walk and LOTS of stairs. In very hot weather this is tiring. Sun loungers cost €20 for two people.

Torremolinos and this hotel seem particularly popular with the LGBT community, so just something to be aware of.

Parking is also a big problem if you have a car.

So, did we regret staying here? Definitely not.
Would we recommend it? Yes, if noise doesn’t bother you. ?

I had to use earplugs at night, but overall we had a good holiday and were happy we came here. ❤️

We stayed in Room 206 for 8 nights. Great value. The hotel is in a great location, about a 10-minute walk to the beach and close to many restaurants and cafés. The room was clean and comfortable, the shower was excellent, and the staff were friendly. The rooftop has a nice view, although it’s a shame it’s not open for sunrise.

The biggest downside is the pool area, which is far too small for the size of the hotel. Guests queue before it opens just to get a sunbed, and it feels overcrowded. If you’re looking for a relaxing pool holiday, I wouldn’t stay here again—the nearby beach is a much better option.

Also, keep in mind that the walk back from the beach is uphill with quite a few stairs. During our stay, the elevator wasn’t working, which made it even more difficult. This could be challenging for elderly guests or anyone with mobility issues

This is our third time staying at this hotel, and we will likely return in the future. The service is excellent, as is the food in the restaurant. Great location. "Compliments to all the staff, especially to Manan (always smiling girl in the buffet restaurant)

The only downside is the beds, which could be improved for better comfort.

Dear Aleksandar,
Thank you for your valuable feedback.

We are delighted to read your continued trust in our hotel through your third visit.

That said, we take note of your observation about room comfort and will review this aspect.

Nonetheless, we are particularly pleased you found our team's hospitality memorable and appreciated our proximity to Torremolinos' vibrant center.

We do hope that you will return on another occasion.
Best regards,
