when we first got into our room the aircon wasn’t working, we later found out that u have to keep the balcony door shut for it to work, battery’s missing from the remote, and fridge barly keeps anything cold. On the balcony there is a light but they are timered so in the evening u have to sit on the balcony in the dark. The pool was lovely nothing to complain about but only one of the jacuzzis work on the roof top and even if they do they are very hard to get working. Many times our door wouldn’t lock behind us which is so dangerous as we are 3 young girls and took us 2 hours of ringing and talking to reception for someone to actually come and fix it and even after they did our keycard stopped working.( which is a known problem in the hotel as heard many people getting it fixed and people we met there couldn’t ever get there’s working). There was also a young boy trying to get into our room aswell as two other young girls rooms and when we rang reception they came up once knocked the door and never done anything else for it we had to handle it ourselves. This hotel is good if your only looking for a bed to sleep in at night for a girls or guy holiday but other than that i wouldn’t recommend.

Ok so i have just come home today the 9th July. We arrived and they couldn't find our booking ? we came with 4 other families. They all went to there rooms and we were left for 45 minutes waiting. Ovs this was horrible and my 3 kids were so upset they couldn't get changed and be in the pool after a very long day travelling. They put us in and up graded room with an extra room that had a sofa bed. Brilliant ?
Went to make up the sofa bed for my son at night time and the mattress was absolutely vile. I used 4 sheets to cover it because it was so bad.
We ended up keeping the room for our 5 days and it was a very nice size.
The rooms are nice but please dont expect it to be amazing. The furniture is chipped and worn. Not a problem for us at all we got a great deal so we were happy.
Air-conditioning was amazing just male sure the patio doors are fully closed. Massive fridge so great for keep drink and food cold.
Lovely bath room and towels available as and when you need them.
Things that would honestly make it so much better. A kettle so you can make a cuppa.
You have a lovely area in the bedroom for getting ready it just needs a mirror on the wall and a stall to sit on.
The hotel is really in a great position to the beach and the shops pubs ect.
It is up a hill and with the heat is hard work. Also the beach is about a 10 minute walk but also a good walk up steps or a slope.
Even with the start we had we had a great time.
Note Spain is not much different in price to England . So definitely take a good amount of money. Cocktails are about 10€ and suntan crean is so expensive so bring your own.
Would recommend as a great budget hotel staff were all really nice and friendly.

Me & my partner just stayed here for a week and found no faults. Perfect location and very central, the pool area was lovely with lots of beds and the food was great. No issues with the air-con or the hill as we had seen a few comments about this and didn’t know what to expect (it really isn’t steep at all and easily walkable). We enjoyed the rooftop party on the Sunday too :) If we visit Salou again, we will be back!

If every night you want to walk up a huge hill to your hotel book the suit room then get downgraded to a single room with no sofa me and my best mate booked the suit with a living room and apon arrival we were greated with a leaking sealing after delayed flights for 9 hours and 19 hours of travel in total i was pretty fried and was told at reception it would take days to fix and they relocated us to 202 instead of 201 the original room we booked and paid extra for the lady assured us 202 was identical. We walk into our new room no sofa no extra room beds next to eachother not seprate so took a look outside and a cleaner had immediately fixed 201 our original suit so went back to reception and ask to swap back as the room is not the same we was told no we can change now we have changed and there was nothing more they could do as the room is now gone after not even 5 minuets and the room was supposedly going to take days to fix haha we walked in as the door was open to see it had been fixed immediatly as we were about to go complain about our new room being tiny nightmare holiday will be claiming on our insurance. Rude staff seriously none helpfull.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for taking the time to share details of your recent visit to our hotel.

To begin with, as the receptionist who assisted you during check-in mentioned, the room was of a higher category than the one you booked through your travel agency. Due to the high occupancy we experience during this time of year, we often have to provide these rooms without charging the applicable fee. If you paid any extra to your travel agency for this type of room, that’s a complaint you’ll need to direct to them. The information provided by your agency is that you paid for a double bed room with a balcony, with no additional extras.

Similarly, when you complained about the leak caused by the air conditioner, the staff member who assisted you offered to go upstairs herself to clean up the leak while the technician repaired the air conditioner, and she informed you that it was a problem that would be resolved in 5 minutes or less, and that if you were moved to another room, you could not return to the original one, as that would mean double the work for our housekeeping team.

We understand that flight delays are frustrating and can wear anyone down, but that is no excuse to blame the hotel staff, who have nothing to do with flight-related issues.

We hope that we may have the occasion to welcome you back for an improved experience.
Best regards,
