Location was great close to everything needed and rooms cleaned daily
pool area was nice
issues: roof hottubs freezing cold
Tv would not go on any channels
Hot glue stain on desk
keycard constantly malfunctioned
party on the roof terrace was told not allowed to go on even when reception says it’s okay
Payed for a triple room (incl 2 queens) but only got a queen
constant maintenance work going on all day
Ac in the reception leaking heavily. how this place got 3 stars is beyond me
Perfect for a long weekend. Hotel rooms were clean and comfortable. Shower was good. Great location 5 minutes from beach and restaurants. Lots of sunbeds available however had to wait until 10am for pool area to be open which we thought wasn’t great when we like to get up early. Michelle on the front desk was friendly and extremely helpful.
Our room was tidy but the Aircon didn't work sadly. Don't open the door too far at night, insect bites if you do. That aside, Staff were lovely and helpful and it's location is useful but up a hill, not far from beach and pool is clean in hotel. Mauricio at the bar was a great guy. Reception spoke french if your Spanish isn't good.
We recently stayed here for two nights and I honestly wouldn’t even let my dog stay here even though they boast that they are “pet friendly”. I would suggest you try and stay somewhere else because this place is in poor condition.
First, the check in process was very slow. Ahead of us was a group of 4 friends which were already being assisted by two employees. It still took them over 20minutes to sort them out.
The room itself looked “clean” but once you start to settle in, you will notice how there is such a lack of hygiene and cleanliness here. The ceiling of the room had signs of moisture damage, and had paint peeling off of it. Some floorboards were damaged and were chipped. The bathroom was fine until we noticed there was shaved hair on the shower glass that was not cleaned from the previous tenants. Absolutely disgusting. The room was very warm, and the air conditioning is more like central heating because it blew warm air into the room. We had to keep the balcony door open to cool down, and it was raining on the nights we stayed.
The rooms were also very poorly sound proofed. You could hear everything and even join in conversations with the room next door because of how paper thin the walls were. One morning as well we were woken up by a loud shouting man from a balcony on our floor, but we could not even close our balcony door as it would leave us sweating in the heat.
Overall, I would highly suggest to stay in a different place. This hotel is in dire need of a renovation, more importance on improving cleanliness and sorting out the air conditioning, especially coming up to the hottest months of the season. The only reason we booked this was for the location as it was quite close to Capellans beach.
