We had a wonderful stay at Pierre & Vacances Bonavista de Bonmont Resort. The residence itself is beautiful, and our apartment was spacious and clean. We especially enjoyed the large balcony, which was perfect for relaxing. The pool was also great, and we spent a lot of time there. As we visited during the off-season, we didn't get a chance to try any of the resort's activities, but we still had a fantastic time. Overall, we highly recommend this resort

The rooms (at least renovated ones) in the hotel are generally very nice, easily matching to a 4* hotel with even sea views from the higher floors. Outdoor areas are very well maintained, though some places are showing a bit of aging, making them closer to 3* hotel.

The pool area is perhaps not as huge as pictures make you feel, but it is still large. It’s a family hotel chain so expect the pool to be full of kids at all times. Families from certain cultures leave their kids alone in the pool with siblings, causing quite wild and dangerous pool behavior at times. The lifeguard is unfortunately not enforcing the pool rules very seriously.

Most guests speak French so expect the vibe to be at times more French than Spanish or international as in most other hotels. The area surrounding the hotel is partly wild and beautiful nature but partly also with a lot of trash lying next to road with an abandoned golf course and Westin resort. There was also a stray dog running wild in the garden and attacking our son, which made us feel uneasy. We wouldn’t return for the resort but if you don’t plan to stay in resort all-day, it could be a good base for touring around with enjoyable rooms at decent price.

We are delighted that you found the rooms to be very nice, akin to a 3* hotel standard, and that the sea views from the higher floors added to the enjoyment of your stay. Our team takes great pride in maintaining the outdoor areas to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

However, we are sorry that some aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. While we are pleased that our swimming pool is a popular feature among families, we acknowledge that at times it can feel crowded. We also regret to hear about the pool conduct you observed. The safety and enjoyment of our guests at the pool is a top priority, and we will address the enforcement of pool rules with our lifeguard team. Regarding the surrounding areas, we are constantly working with local authorities to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our environment, including addressing concerns about stray animals. We take your comment about the stray dog incident very seriously and will investigate further to prevent such occurrences in the future.

Nonetheless, we are pleased you appreciated our resort as a convenient base for exploring the local area. With the natural beauty of the Costa Dorad and the proximity of Bonmont Golf Course, our guests often enjoy a mix of relaxation at the resort and adventurous experiences in the surrounding region.
