Over priced for the standard of the accommodation but that is true of everywhere in a ski resort in Easter. Taking the price out of the equation, the one bedroom apartment was perfectly nice and serviceable and in a great location. Yes the curtains could do with a dusting but the apartment was clean and well equipped and perhaps I've been going to Avoriaz long enough now to know what to expect. The nightly price we paid was 146euros. The walk up rate was something absurd like 400euros. Would I say 146euros was good value? No but alas it's the going rate in a school holiday.
The block we stayed in was not in the Saskia complex which was only a problem when trying to find it at 10pm at night!! The apartment was clean and tidy and in a great location for Ski in / out. The beds were firm with plenty of linen. Having two bathrooms was a real benefit. there was plenty of space for our group of five adults Thank you once again P & V
We had a very nice and clean appartment. Completely restyled with new furniture, etc. Nice view over the Avoriaz centre. During the night it was completely silent! The location is 10 min. situated from the drop off point. You can directly ski in, ski out to the appartment.
Very comfortable bed , warm and cosy apartment,, plenty of hot water, wonderful view, convenient location for ski in,ski out, great atmosphere, nearby parking available, close to supermarkets and restaurants.
This is our fourth year at this accommodation. It is one of the cheaper options in the resort and you get exactly what you pay for. Rooms are basic, but clean and perfectly functional for a ski holiday. Location is excellent. Ski in/out, good access to the supermarket and bakery. Views are stunning, particularly the sunsets. Staff are friendly and helpful. It is meant to include basic internet access, but we were unable to connect to it anywhere but reception. The only English channels on TV were BBC 1 and 2, but we were in France. No great problem for us, but you may want to plan entertainment options for those requiring constant activity.
