Typically I wouldn’t leave a review. But the customer service here needs to improve. I got locked out of the room, leaving the shared key with another member of the group. Reception simply refused to help me, instead said I need to go walk 20 minutes away & get that key. Now normally that would be fine, fair enough my fault. But when I’m on crutches because I tore the ligaments in my knee, during the week. You’d think they would maybe help or make an exception. But no. Additionally the beds weren’t made upon arrival, the was also rather dusty, water pressure on one of the showers was poor. But apart from the hotel “Snowboxx 2024” was amazing & would recommend you book. Perhaps just avoid this hotel.

Unbelievably we were charged 150 Euros as part of the “damage deposit” for leaving a few items in the fridge on departure (that we thought the cleaning staff might want to take), and not emptying a small pedal bin with a couple of items of dry rubbish in.

Despite trying to engage multiple times with reception / the company at how unfair / disproportionate this was we were told very clearly they didn’t care.

I think the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

Really nice place, and it's a good location.
It's chaos if you are arriving Saturdays during the peak wees.

This accommodation is perfect for family and friends skiing. The rooms are warm, there are good facilities to cook easy meals on the stove top (although we could not work out how to use the microwave to cook, but the pictures in it suggest you can do a pizza), and great views to watch the sun go down.

Access to a ski storage for each apartment is simple; there is ski hire shop in the same building as the reception.

There are steps/escalator across the road to bring you up from the main shops/restaurants (and as others suggested not all escalators are always working - there are plenty of signs telling people not to push the emergency stop button, but it appears they do).

The reception desk can help organise transfers to and from the welcome centre/car park.

Cleaning products are provided for the kitchen, including three dishwasher tablets. My one gripe is that it would be helpful to have two rolls of toilet paper provided, as having to buy a 6 pack for the remainder of the week is annoying.

We stayed in the one bedroom apartment, which sleeps five (two singles in the bedroom with a pull down bunk), and a slightly creaky pull-out couch. Friends stayed in the large two bedroom apartment, which has a really spacious living room to entertain.

Would thoroughly recommend Avoriaz and these apartments.
