Large rooms, decent bedding, and average to high-quality amenities. The staff is friendly, there's everything you need to prepare meals, and the view is lovely. There's a very strong pine scent in the rooms, and some of the finishing touches could be improved.
The common areas are well-designed, with two playrooms, one for younger children and another for older ones.

It might be okay for skiing, but otherwise it's not good.
The access road is like a quarry and the layout of the different houses is suboptimal.
The staff could benefit from speaking more languages.

Very nice and spacious apartment. Comfortable beds, wonderful shower.
Good equipment in the kitchen; fondue or raclette can be borrowed from reception. Kitchenware is a bit limited.
The ski locker is very clean and has good drying facilities. You can walk to the slopes through the building, although it's quite a walk, including the lift and steep slope access. This slope isn't suitable for beginners; they can take the bus that stops in front of the building.
The complex's internal logistics are somewhat illogical in design.
There's a nice games room in the building, but it's a shame it closes at 6:00 PM. It should be later in the evening so the kids can still play.
There's a small supermarket a 5-minute walk away. Unfortunately, it doesn't open until 8:00 AM, so it's a bit too late for fresh bread for breakfast. We're used to something different in France. There's less bread available in the shops anyway, which is strange.
All in all, a great base for exploring the 4 Vallées. Les Collons is a suitable area for beginners, and for advanced skiers you can make beautiful day trips to Verbier and Nendaz.

Swiss Peak Resorts in Thyon surprised me in the best possible way. The location alone is incredible — perched above the Rhône Valley with sweeping alpine views and direct access to the 4 Vallées ski area. But what truly made my stay memorable wasn’t just the scenery; it was the people.

From the moment I arrived, the staff were exceptionally friendly and genuinely welcoming. There’s a warmth in the way they greet you, help you settle in, and make sure you have everything you need. It never felt forced or formal — just naturally kind and attentive. That personal touch made the whole experience feel relaxed and comfortable, almost like staying with friends rather than at a resort.

The apartments are modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with those big windows that let the mountains steal the show. Whether you’re waking up to sunrise over the peaks or winding down after a day on the slopes, the atmosphere is peaceful and cozy.
