Not understanding the good comments. We must not have had the right apartment, it's incomprehensible. Everything is very dilapidated. The apartment door is so stuck that my daughter couldn't open it alone or turn the key. A carpet visibly dating from around twenty years ago, very dirty, stained, etc. The sofa covers are from the 80s. A semblance of cleaning was done before our arrival, crazy. A vacuum cleaner is available in a cupboard, but... So full of waste in the receptacle that it no longer vacuumed. So we emptied the mess but the pipes were clogged with disgusting dust (see photos). Bathroom walls dusty and some visible old hairs stuck on. Under the sink, a piece of furniture on wheels had apparently never been removed to clean underneath. I did it (see photos), not sad! Lack of dishes in the kitchen. No frying pan, only two knives etc. Air vent with 5mm of dust on it. Poor thermal insulation, forced to heat up to full capacity and at night the air is so dry that we sleep poorly. Early in the morning, we hear the elevator and the footsteps of everyone walking with ski boots non-stop.
Apartment for 4 to 6 people with a single toilet tucked into a bathroom between the shower and the sink, close to the elevator.
Aside from these two complaints, we had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the location.
One word: Top!!
I can only recommend the Le Tikal residence in Val Thorens, with its warm welcome and efficient service.
The apartments are clean and spacious.
Easy access to the slopes from the 6th floor of the residence.
The rooms are small both in space and the width of the beds. However, it had three bathrooms, which made cleaning much easier for our group of 6 people. The dining room space was adequate for 6 people. To access the slopes you only had to cross to the building opposite (of the same group) and access the elevator, so there was practically no walking.
A very good point is the fact that the ski storage is heated and you can leave your boots there until the next day and you will find them dry and warm.
